PLEASE TURN YOUR HEAD 90 DEGREES FOR YOUR VIEWING (IN)CONVENIENCE :)
Hey all, So as you can see, I’m using my course time well. After a jam session last night with my new buddy Allie, I felt inspired to start using some newer materials to express mahself. So after being up till about 3 am (!), I’d sharpened some old pencils, and with this one I used a 6B pencils to get those darks in. Next time, I wouldn’t use a marker for outlining though - it looked ultra-fly before.Posted via email from Doomz’s posterous | Comment »

I’ve just been made aware that this morning’s haiku starts with a 6 syllable line.
As this just won’t do, I must now write an APOLOGY haiku.
Here goes:
First line, haiku sucked / Too many syllables there / Screw you, I was beat!
;D

If you’ve been looking at all for a program to convert those pesky .amr files on your cellphone into something a little more useful, I find this program pretty helpful - Miksoft’s Mobile Media Converter. I tend to record a lot of lyrics and song ideas into my BlackBerry when I’m on the go, so being able to use freeware to convert them into high-quality WAV and MP3 files has been very handy for getting more mileage out of those ideas and not being constrained to the BlackBerry to listen to them. Try it out!
Good on ya, Miksoft.

Knowing what I was expecting and thinking there was some mistake, I opened it to find… a 4 GB MicroSD card. …but it’s tiny as hell - what do I need a MASSIVE box for? All it contained was this, a receipt and some paper - to keep it from jostling around? WTF. Use a bubble wrap envelope! This is just WASTEFUL.
In case you don’t know just how small this is, here’s a picture with a nickel for comparison. I KNOW, RIGHT?
Newegg, change your practices. This is just sad :(—case p. Posted via email from Doomz’s posterous | Comment »
Videos like this can make you wish you weren’t living in North America.
You can basically look at it like the same sequence of videos done four times over, but it’s after the first time where the madness starts to begin!
Round one is the premise;
Round two brings you to reality to show you how it all fits in;
Round three shows what happens when we merge that crazy TV land with reality;
Round four shows the consequences.
What do we get? 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 = EPIC WIN.

P.S. On second look, there could be more like 7 rounds… and you’ve gotta watch out for all the subtle changes - for there are MANY!

Another classic done Calamities style! Please note that without monitors on stage, the singers couldn’t hear themselves sing.
Which is the reason I’m giving you for sounding like I’m yelling.
I can sing, really. I’ll prove it to you sometime!
I’ll karaoke with the best of ‘em…!

The first of the videos to surface of The Calamities’ performance last Thursday! One of Carny’s friends brings you “Heatwave”.
